Burin Peninsula Chamber of Commerce

The Marystown-Burin Area Chamber of Commerce was established on the Burin Peninsula in 1991 and we served businesses in the Marystown and Burin area.  In December 2009 our boundaries were expanded to include the whole Burin Peninsula south of Swift Current.  To reflect the change in our boundaries our name has changed to the Burin Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.

We are excited about these new changes and look forward to serving businesses outside the Marystown and Burin areas!

Meet our Board of Directors

The Burin Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is governed by a 15 member Board of Directors.  Each member of the Board is elected by the members for a two year term.

We will be holding our election of officers by January 31st, 2012. The results of the election will be posted the following day.  Due to the poor weather conditions this meeting was postponed until further notice.

Meet our Staff:

We are pleased to say that we currently have two full time staff members at our office.

Kelly Pardy, Executive Director 

Kelly has been with the Chamber since February 2008.  She began as the Coordinator but has since been promoted to the Executive Director. She graduated from the College of the North Atlantic completing a Business Administration Accounting Program, focusing on Accounting, Business Communications, Business Law and Human Resource Management.  She recently graduated from the Dale Carnegie Effective Communication and Human Relations course.
